Hey, thanks for coming by. Ease around the place and see what’s up.
I’m happy to have new music. Feels good to be back in the ring (the boxing ring? circus ring? bathtub ring?). I hope to be out a bit more this year singing and playing. Come by if you can.
In a season of bailouts and losses, I am thinking about that dish by the cash register at the restaurant. ”Need a penny, take one. Have a penny? Leave it.” It’s a beautiful world at the penny level! I have been inspired lately and encouraged by lots of artists, friends, and folks who attend to their gifts. It’s remarkable, really, to hear songs that reveal rather than cover up, poems that clarify and sharpen our quandaries and questions, artists who commune with their growing edges. They fill up the dish for me. It’s good to try and return something.
I just ordered it!
I’m looking forward to hearing the new music from you…loved the clips you posted.
Billy,
The website looks fantastic! So clean, sharp… well done.
And the album… well… I have a small stake, I suppose… but, my friend, it is strong and beautiful return to the best stuff in life.
Billy,
Looking forward to the new tunes.
If you are ever near Atlanta let me know. Love to set up an opportunity for folks to hear your music.
Blessings
Mark Manuel
the “love might” song followed me as I moved along, and that’s when I realized …what a beauty! It’s very powerful!… all of it is beautiful. Thank you for sharing such a gift to us all.

Billy,
Thank you so much for a new vocal album. It is great to have you back with new songs. I have missed your voice and you are just as good (or better) as you always have been. You are my favorite artist because of the quality, maturity, and sincerity of your art. Please do not ever stop, Billy, and thanks so much.
Billy,
Well, it goes without saying that Jeremy M. and me (Fern) were excited to see Wishing Sky out. Billy, you remember when we were sitting in your den and you played “Feel It” for us? Wow! What an experience and now to hear it on your new album, it’s amazing. You don’t know how many people have seen our video on youtube and mentioned something about your music. What a following you have out there. Hope Jeremy and I can make it back to Blue Rock soon…perhaps to record.
Peace.
From the lab (where ‘Meant That’ is a particular favorite) to my living room, Wishing Sky is a comforting and sometimes challenging sound track to these days. Every listen reveals another layer and continues to inspire. Thanks for sharing the gift, my friend -
Patty
Billy

Hey Billy,
Your new music is breathtaking! “Love Might” and “New Wine” have been in my head for awhile. This is art at its finest. I am moved by your generosity, spirit and friendship.
Thank you,
Jamie
Billy,
I’ve been a fan for years and you’ve inspired me in my own musical and spiritual journey. It’s oddly satisfying just knowing that you’re out there doing what you were made to do. Hope to make it out to Blue Rock in the future.
Grateful,
Nathan
Billy,
I just recently downloaded Wishing Sky.
Thanks,
I have missed your insightful, deep and soul stirring music. Thank you for your honesty and music. I’m sure Rich Mullins would of been the first in line to listen and drink deep (Well… he is)

I have no idea why you came to mind which led me here. I’m delighted to hear your gifts again, Billy.
GREAT to hear your music again. I hope you come sing in fort worth.
Billy- can’t wait for the CD to arrive. I was hoping you’d be recording and concert-ing again.
Thanks & Blessings, Marty
Billy,
Like all your albums, this one is full of change and surprises. Your voice sounds younger and higher on a lot of the songs — could you have discovered the elixir of youth? Of course, you have: music, love, and truth. I’ve already learned to play and sing the delightful “Back on the Horse” which should be cranking on every country station in the ole US of A if life was fair. It isn’t, but you know that and keep singing joyfully to the briny end. Love it! Bill
I’m on about my 3rd listen of the Wishing Sky. Love it. Still trying to wrap my mind around some of the lyrics. I love things that make me think and feel deeply. May the angels carry us all beyond the finish line. One more request– come to nebraska to play
My brother sent me Wishing Sky when he found out how much I love your music. Wow. Long Live This Love is one of the most hauntingly beautiful songs I have heard. Your voice to me sounds like a violin.
Love the new CD. Will you be giving a concert near Kansas City?
Sad that I am not able to hear you in LaGrange…I found you after hearing “Here’s to the Day”. I’m loving your new stuff. Can’t wait to buy it and share with friends. Blessings to you.
I have already posted once on this thread, but I wanted everyone to know that just today I have created a “Fans of Billy Crockett” group on facebook for the primary purpose of lyric discussion. If you are on facebook and interested, please join the group.
We have missed your music.
Billy,
Glad to hear that you have released a new collection of songs. I really have enjoyed all of your albums, but what I really want is to hear (and see) you play live again. I know that it is a long shot that you would play in West Texas, but if you are ever within’ a couple hundred miles, I would like to bring my daughter Elena to one of your concerts.
Peace and Love…
Billy,
