Brief Bio: Billy Crockett is producer and creative director of Blue Rock Studio in the Texas Hill Country, home of acclaimed recordings, videos, live events, and workshops. Crockett is creating a stir with his 2025 rollout of singles for the upcoming album, CIRCLE SESSIONS. He has recorded fourteen solo albums and toured internationally. He has been featured on the BMI songwriter panel at SXSW, in the television series Troubadour, TX, and as guitar clinician for Yamaha. Rolling Stone calls his warm sound “coffeehouse folk without pretension.” American Songwriter writes, “He achieves that delicate fusion of refinement and soul..., delivering the essence of the thing with crystalline purity.”

My Creative Mission is to feel alive, out loud. Good songs open the heart and remind us of our humanity; that's an aspiration. My songs come from a daily practice of listening. I try to hear in the gaps something stirring, the hidden relationships. I usually know if I'm telling the truth. -Billy

Acts of Citizenship: If you’re on my site, we are connected somehow. This is a time when our connections are as important as they’ve ever been. What is inspiring you? What is dear to you? The America we have loved is changing fast—our science, education, public health, human rights, diplomacy, truth and decency are in real jeopardy. A couple of things I know: together we are not small; and action helps me feel less overwhelmed. So, why not pick a couple of key organizations working to repair and create the world we want to see. We don't have to despair. Let's be part of something positive. Here's my support profile: Independent journalism—The Texas Tribune; Refugee and immigrant legal services—Human Rights Initiative of North Texas; Medical mission to war zones—LEAP Global Missions. Yours? I can feel your courage. -Billy, info@billycrockett.com
