The Story: I live on the edge of a canyon. It’s a bandshell for the haunted cries of the wild dogs that live along the river bed. Sometimes they keep me up at night. Truth is, I hear myself down there. In spite of my parents’ best hopes, all that Sunday school and the college degrees, some part of me wanders this world untamed, unknown, howling in the grey moonlight. - Billy
