Can you feel the wind changing, leaves letting go and a different quality in the light? But there's someone missing. “Keepsake" is a remembrance. A song for what lasts.

Beautiful tribute to one of the most beautiful souls I'll ever know.” - BT

“This is a lovely, quiet piece that reaches deep.” - Don

"I also lost someone and this song touched me deeply. -RR

The Story: Jerene knew the scoop on me. We had crossed the English Channel together. We had walked the ancient ruins of Stonehenge. Talked about faith and songs. At Cappy’s Chowder House in Camden we raised a beer—her first. She was eighty. She was always a little girl and she was my mother. I called her once from the coast in a crisis. I didn’t need anything. But her voice was like coming home when home had failed to come to me. When the wind blows or a ship bell rings, I feel her close. This is my keepsake. -Billy

How To Stream My New Single

A video walk-through of where to find me online and how to stay connected.

My Creative Mission:  Music has particular agency now. Certain songs open the heart and remind us of our humanity. We need them. My songs aspire to this. They are a daily practice of listening. I try to hear in the gaps something stirring, a story, the unseen relationships. I usually know when I'm telling the truth. Occasionally, I hear a megaphone.
